PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Habitat for Humanity International approached Architecture for Humanity to assist Habitat in finding an architect who could create plans for panelized houses for the Gerogetown County, South Carolina, affiliate. This affiliate wants to explore the use of panelized houses for reasons of efficiency, to keep workers out of the hot South Carolina sun, and to accommodate several different volunteer groups including seniors, high school students and incarcerated individuals. George Catone of Reset Studios in Phoenix, Arizona, and Autumn Rennie Phillips a designer of Greater Atlanta stepped forward to create plans that will fulfill the needs of Georgetown County.
